  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup 2% cottage cheese
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Chopped spring onion (optional)
  • Chopped fresh basil (optional)
  • Fillings – include what you desire.
  • 3 slices of old-fashioned ham
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Add the egg, cottage cheese, salt, pepper, spring onion, and basil to a food processor.
  4. Mix for one minute until it’s a creamy consistency. (like a pancake batter).
  5. Pour the entire batter on the parchment paper and, using a spatula, form it into any shape you’d like.
  6. Put the baking sheet into a 350-degree oven for approximately 25 minutes.
  7. Check if the bottom is browned and easily lifts from the parchment using an oven-safe spatula.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool before adding any filling unless you want to serve it hot.
  9. Wrap, roll, or fold the cottage cheese wrap once it’s filled, and enjoy.
