Delicious Parmesan Air Fryer Carrots are bursting with Club House Wild Whiskey Smoked BBQ Seasoning, to the crispiness of the grated Parmigiano Regianno cheese.
Make the carrots sweet or savoury based on preference, and they are both delicious.
The best part is that making carrots takes less time than roasting them in the oven.
Be sure to try my air fryer kale chips which were also a hit!
Using An Air Fryer For Carrots
You can’t go wrong making this recipe, and you likely won’t have any leftovers.
What I love about using an air fryer is that anything you roast in the oven can be done in half the time.
Traditionally carrots in the oven to a sweet caramelized state can take upwards of 30 minutes.
These Crispy Parmesan Crusted Air Fryer Carrots with Club House Wild Whiskey Smoked BBQ Seasoning take 20 minutes.
I use tin foil on the air fryer pan, so there is less cleanup speeding up when you’re in the kitchen.
I’ve made this recipe many times and have had both sweet and savoury, which I will explain below.

Ingredients
More notes are at the bottom of this post, along with the recipe card.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil – If you have avocado oil, you can use it, but I find EVOO makes a crispier carrot.
Parmigiano Regianno Cheese – Always use fresh parmesan cheese you grate at home. It costs a bit more, but a little goes a long way, and it’s worth the quality product.
Carrots – I used bagged grocery store carrots, but you can use any you like to make this recipe. Baby or mini carrots will also work as appetizers instead of side dishes.
Seasonings – I bought Club House Wild Whiskey Smoked BBQ Seasoning at Costco. It is only available seasonally. However, use any seasoning you prefer if you can’t find what I’ve used.

How To Make Air Fryer Carrots
Savoury
Wash and peel the carrots and place them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Add Club House Wild Whiskey Smoked BBQ Seasoning (or any other you prefer) and mix to coat the carrots.
Grate fresh Parmigiano Regianno cheese onto the bottom of a tin-foil-lined air fryer pan.
Set the carrots next to each other based on what type of air fryer you use.

Our Cuisinart 3-1 Microwave Air fryer comes with a round basket.

Sweet Air Fryer Carrots
If savoury isn’t your thing, you can make them sweet.
Follow the same process for the savoury air fryer carrots.
Add brown sugar, cinnamon, butter, and a pinch of salt to the bowl.
How Long To Cook Carrots In The Air Fryer?
As mentioned, air fryer carrots are roasted remarkably quickly compared to a traditional oven.
Cook at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes, checking part-way through with a fork for doneness.
Once done, remove and eat the carrots as they are, or serve with a homemade dip.
How To Store Leftover Air Fryer Carrots
When the carrots cool, store them in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Reheat the carrots in the air fryer to return the crispy texture and release the flavours.

How To Reheat Carrots In The Air Fryer
If you have leftovers, reheat them at 350 degrees for 5-7 minutes or until warmed through and crispy again.
Notes:
- You can use baby carrots to make them smaller-sized or cut them in half.
- Depending on which size carrots you use, the time will vary. Check the carrots halfway through the process with a fork. Prick the carrot to see if it’s tender, and tap it for crispiness.
- Add any seasonings you like, from sweet to savoury.
- Use a quality vegetable peeler, as it makes all the difference.
- Line your dish or basket with tin foil for less cleanup.
Mozzarella Stuffed Italian Turkey Meatloaf (Low Carb)
