a realtor must go the distance to get the next client, a home sale, or a set of keys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some realtors have gone as far as to cut their commission to secure their next client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That could be the difference of thousands of dollars; it&#8217;s not worth it<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clients will send referrals when you give a closing gift<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Your realtor will do more for you the next time around if you give them a closing gift<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To win a client&#8217;s loyalty, a realtor will offer a closing gift; in return, the client may do the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why would the client buy a closing gift for their realtor?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, there&#8217;s more to it than meets the eye, and a gift doesn&#8217;t necessarily mean <strong>spending money.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-importance-of-a-realtor-closing-gift-for-a-client\">Importance Of A Realtor Closing Gift For A Client<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Did your realtor give you a closing gift?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I <a href=\"https:\/\/canadianbudgetbinder.com\/2013\/07\/29\/buying-my-first-property-was-i-too-young\/\"><strong>bought my first two houses in the UK<\/strong><\/a>, I did not get a closing gift from my realtor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I suppose I never thought much about it as I wasn&#8217;t aware of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We both continued through the buying and selling process and went on our way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, like any other, my realtor asked me to pass along any referrals I might have and provided me with business cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was thankful for the dedication of my realtor, especially since I had used him for all my transactions over the years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When Mrs. CBB bought her first house in Ontario, her realtor gave her a ceramic jar filled with Biscotti as a closing gift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It wasn&#8217;t something she had expected. However, she said getting a note from her realtor thanking her for the business was nice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cookies for her meant he went the extra mile hoping she would continue using him for future transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That makes sense and is a smart marketing idea for the realtor, but from a personal aspect, it&#8217;s <strong>building relationships.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 dinner<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Home visit to see how we were doing<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Monthly Real Estate Update Newsletter<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Any time we have a question, she answers it<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Like, wow!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s what I call a realtor who cares about her clients and will go the extra mile to keep them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The financial realization of the client relationship may take years before a client buys and sells again, but it&#8217;s that bridge the realtor holds onto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Often you might find realtors who make it big-time pass the process to their associates, and they miss that personalization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With our realtor, we enjoy the above more than that closing gift
