Kitchen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re<strong> new to Canadian Budget Binder,<\/strong> in 2021, our son was diagnosed with <strong>Autism<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;d never know it as he&#8217;s a bright boy with lots of smiles and always wanting to help around the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ll write a blog post about his and our journey, but I&#8217;ll keep it in the kitchen worldwide is a <a href=\"https:\/\/canadianbudgetbinder.com\/2014\/11\/02\/chocolate-chip-muffins\/\"><strong>Tim Horton&#8217;s Chocolate Chip Muffin<\/strong>.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I tested so many recipe creations on him, and finally, <strong>he ate<\/strong> <strong>an entire chocolate chip muffin. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have a few recipes we&#8217;ve done together as a family, which I Patrick&#8217;s Day since he has little patience like most kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After about 20 minutes, he&#8217;s off and away from doing something else, so we agreed on dipping Oreo Cookies into white chocolate with green sprinkles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We hope to make a batch for him to bring to school on a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3k6lb6J\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">candy stick<\/a><\/strong>, but it depends on <strong>Covid restrictions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was not unusual for our son to <strong>bring homemade treats for his class in SK and JK on special days or occasions<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once <strong>Covid-19<\/strong> hit, all of that ended with online schooling, as no kids were around to eat them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Walking into class with a box of treats makes everyone smile, especially when chocolate is involved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our son chose <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3xvzmFx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">double-stuffed chocolate Oreos<\/a><\/strong> and <strong>white Oreo cookies for the White Chocolate Dipped Oreo Cookies<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are <strong>peanut-free <\/strong>and have two options for the kids; <strong>Chocolate and Vanilla Oreos<\/strong> were a great idea. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many <strong>varieties of Oreo Cookies,<\/strong> including <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our son is not a huge fan of candy but loves the colours and will pick them off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We were at Tim Hortons, sitting inside while travelling, and he wanted one vanilla-sprinkled donut. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As it sat on his plate, he had zero interest in eating the donut and admired the colours he licked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He&#8217;s always been a <strong>picky eater <\/strong>because of his <strong>sensory processing disorder diagnosis<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll always find cookies or a muffin in his lunch as a treat but no candy; he despises it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He wanted to make these St. Patrick&#8217;s cookies for his classroom friends and teacher. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ultimately, we had extra white chocolate and made a few <strong>White
